Additional packages

ssh_cvs.zip - This is the cvs-through-ssh binary distribution.  It's only required if you want to access the CVS as a Developer.  Anonymous Users don't need this package.  See the Users and Developers sections for an explanation.

jet_media.zip - The media files distributed with the original Jet3D release.  This includes the following directories:
GlobalMaterials, Sounds, Actors, Levels, Tutorials.  If you already have these directories, you don't need to download this 10Meg file, otherwise you'll extract this into the /jet/bin directory.

SourceForge - A new archive containing the compiled version of the CVS code (and sources) will be available at the project's SourceForge page at the beginning of each month.

Links

JMiniApp - A Mini Jet3D application which serves as an example of a (basic) Jet3D application for the virgin Jet3D coder. It features video driver enumeration and scene loading along with simple camera movement. The source code currently exists in the CVS repository under /jet/src/apps/JMiniApp.  For more information and binaries please see the JMiniApp Homepage.

JShell - A C++ gameshell for the Jet3D API which is based on a Java-style approach to object orientated programming. This doesn't mean that you need to know Java, it just implies that the classes are designed with a goal of making something as simple as possible while not compromising the engine's power. JShell was created by Countach and is maintained by the Jet3D community.  It will be updated frequently.
